Allow me to see...Lord, "The winds of change"

I am not a puppet of circumstance
neither does my God insist I dance to this tune,
I am free to choose my path and that will reveal
that will allow what I will reap during my short stay in this land called Earth.
I will become what I will allow my God to mold,
through my love for Him and by the receptivity to
the wisdom of his word, but if I am hard and defiant
thinking that I alone can direct the Winds of Change,
then I will go on sowing seeds of discontent and
disenchantment along the road I am traveling,
where my disappointment will harden a shell around
my heart, and the truth will remain suppressed and
distort the light which I will never see, never to
determine what of my lot encompassed the help of God
and how much He is involved in my life.
